LIFELESS PAGES
There lies a boundless paradise
Beneath the wondering skies
There would always be chattels of deception
Wiping those faded memories
Off the creeping time
Loneliness is a closed book
On a dusty shelves next to unwound clock
Every word that eluded me
During my restless delirium
I have had to read every page of it
Immersed in the silence of the library
Unearthing the shallow of the boredom
Dim lights to fill the cracked walls
Chasing the eclipsed mind
With books dangling in a raging thoughts
And reverberate to the sound
Of a vibrant cascade
It redeems the seekers after knowledge
Which will not perturb them
With tales of their inflated ego
There’s been times
I’d like to close these lifeless pages
And release the rusty manacles
in every reading room
And mesmerise them by a clarion call
