• الولادة: بغداد، 1941م.

• حصل على بكالوريوس آداب من قسم اللغة العربية في الجامعة المستنصرية سنة 70- 1971 م، بتقدير "جـيد جدا" وكان الأول على قسمه.

• حصل على دبلوم عال في اللغة والأدب من معهد البحوث والدراسات العربية العالية التابع لجامعة الدول العربية في القاهرة سنة 1975م، بتقدير "ممتاز".

• حصل على الماجستير في الأدب الحديث والنقد من كلية الآداب / جامعة القاهرة سنة 1976م، بتقدير "جيد جدا".

• حصل على الدكتوراه في اللغة العربية وآدابها (الأدب والنقد) من كلية الآداب جامعة بغداد في 5/1/1987م، مع التوصية بطبع رسالته.

 Prof. Dr. Abdul Ridha Ali: Biography and Works

Prof. Dr. Abdul Ridha Ali was born in Baghdad 1941.

- Received B.A. in Arabic literature from Al-Mustansiriya University in 1970-1971 and achieving " Very Good Grade" and attained the first place among his colleagues.

-Received a higher diploma in English language and literature from The Institution of Higher Arabic Researches and Studies in Cairo 1975، achieving "Excellent Grade". ----Received a master's degree in modern literature and criticism from the Faculty of Arts / University of Cairo in 1976، with "very good grade".

- Received a doctorate in Arabic Language and Literature (Literature and Criticism) from the Faculty of Arts، University of Baghdad، on 01/05/1987، with a recommendation to print his letter .
