Give me your hand
There is fire
Let’s extinguish it
There is a rose tree growing here
Let’s come close
to its river mouth,
Give me your hand
I want to lean on it,
Take my hand
I want you to root out the thorns
The path is one,
Let’s lower the sun down on it,
Our home is one,
Let’s repair its fence with peace,
Come let’s sing together:
Down with wars.
Come let’s sing together
Glory to man.
One family,
One heart beating,
I love you my brother standing
On the other side of the cliff of the day, you love me, I who am standing Waiting for your hand to wave to my soul with doves.
We stand at one station,
we ride one train whose name is Earth,
It is inevitable that you
Greet me when you see me,
It is inevitable that I greet you
When I pass by you
We exchange words
We exchange flowers.
For a world free of rancor.

دعنا ندلي الشمس عليها
نوال الغانم
أعطني يدك
هناكَ نار
تعال نطفئها
هنا شجرة ورد تنمو،
تعال نقرب
من فمها النهر،
أعطني يدكَ
أريد أن أتكأ عليها،
خذ يديَّ
أريدك أن تجتثَ بها الأشواك
الطريق واحدةٌ،
دعنا نُدَلي الشمس عليها،
بيتنا واحد،
دعنا نرمم سياجه بالسلام،
تعال ننشد سوية:
لتسقط الحروب.
تعال نغني
المجد للإنسان.
عائلة واحدة،
قلب واحد ينبض،
أحبكَ أخي الواقف
في الطرف الآخر من جرف النهار،
تحبني أنا الواقفة
بإنتظار يدكَ
تلوح لروحي بالحمام.
واقفون بمحطةٍ واحدةٍ،
يَقلنا قطار واحد إسمهُ الأرض،
لا مفر من أن تلقي
عليَّ التحية حينَ تراني،
لا مفر من أن ألقي عليكَ التحية
حينَ أمرُ بمحاذاتك،
نتبادل الكلام.
نتبادل الزهور.
من أجل عالم خالٍ من الضغائن.
